We are a national organisation holding meetings, workshops, seminars or key note lecture programs independently or in conjunction with the our parent organisation, AMMS. Our members are notified of meetings, activities and microscopy information. Our objective is the advancement of the science and techniques of light microscopy including:
- Specimen preparation
- Image formation
- Image analysis and recording
- Photography and equipment care / selection etc
Applications include Biology, Pathology, IVF , Ecology, Electronics, Metallurgy / Materials, Chemistry, Teaching or other sciences.
Membership information
Become a member of the LMA by first joining our parent society, AMMS . Special interest group membership is free after joining AMMS and ticking the LMA membership box on the AMMS application form.
