5th National LMA Symposium – 2026

The 5th Light Microscopy Australia (LMA) National Symposium, which will be held in the vibrant, harbour city of Sydney.

We have put together an exciting program showcasing cutting-edge microscopy techniques and their applications in biomedical and life sciences. This meeting will feature a distinguished lineup of internationally and nationally renowned speakers. The opening plenary lecture will be delivered remotely by Professor Stefan Hell (recipient of the 2014 Nobel Prize in Chemistry). Keynote international speakers include Dr. Sabine Krabbe and Professor Kevin Eliceiri. Invited national speakers including Professor Kishan Dholakia , Professor Irina Kabakova, Doctor Senthil Arumugam, Professor Sarah Ellis, Doctor Michael Carnell, Dr Elizabeth Hinde and Doctor Benjamin Liffner.
