1st National LMA Conference
We are delighted to announce the inaugural National Conference of Light Microscopy Australia (LMA), a special interest group operating under the Australian Microscopy and Microanalysis Society. The meeting will take place at the Walter & Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research in Melbourne, Australia.
We have assembled a diverse program with some of the most exciting and emerging areas in the field of light microscopy, including new developments in the field of light sheet, intravital and super-resolution microscopy, and image analysis. Limited places will also be available for specialist workshops on the 3rd day of the conference. This will be a great opportunity for staff and students to network with experts in the area and to obtain hands on experience in some of the most cutting-edge microscopy techniques. Advanced microscopy as it is applied to the Biomedical and Life Sciences will be a major focus of the 2017 inaugural meeting, but we would also like to welcome delegates from other disciplines to enrich the program. The conference is supported by the major microscopy and imaging vendors, who will have representatives attending and available for discussion and consultation.
